About

Anna lives in Ruawai with her dairy farmer partner, Garth.  Her two adult daughters both attended Otamatea High School. She has lived in Kaipara for over 13 years and has a deep commitment to our beautiful district and the opportunities that exist within it.  This is what is behind her decision to stand in the Otamatea Ward for the Kaipara District Council.

Her background in business management gives her a broad skill-set.  Since being first elected to Kaipara in 2016, Anna has consolidated her local government knowledge always with a focus on what’s best for the Kaipara and the people who live here.  She is a keen member of local community development groups such as Bike the Kaipara and Dargaville Community Development Board and is a frequent contributor at meetings of residents’ groups and community planning days.

Anna is a passionate believer in small-town New Zealand and hopes to continue to use her skills and energy to ensure our communities and our beautiful environment thrive.
